Help VSF Get to Carnegie Hall

Villa Sinfonia is a unique nonprofit foundation that offers superlative string music instruction as well as live performance opportunities for musicians of all ages and all levels.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary in the SF Bay Area this year, VSF's esteemed orchestra, led by conductor Roy Oakley and comprised of professional and student musicians who sit and play side by side, has toured the globe, performing to great acclaim.

This June 22nd, Villa Sinfonia is honored to be invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City. For most of the Villa musicians, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and for many it is the fulfillment of a great dream.

VSF has been fundraising tirelessly to cover the cost of the Carnegie trip for every player and instrument, and needs a little more to get over the finish line. Though the expense is great, it is well worth the effort to be able to experience performing as an orchestra in this extraordinary world-class venue.

As the saying goes—it certainly takes practice, practice, practice to get to Carnegie Hall, but it also takes lots of fundraising and generosity!
