Villain Run - Diploma Filmprojekt

Liebe Spender*innen,

mein Name ist Julia Lellek und ich studiere im dritten Semester Filmproduktion am SAE Institut in Frankfurt.

Dafür drehe ich einen 15-minütigen Psycho-Horror, der Themen wie Trauma, Angst und psychische Beschwerden anspricht, die die mentale Gesundheit beeinträchtigen können.

Die Story:

Ein Mädchen. Eine Schule. Traumata.

Zoé, die Protagonisten des Films, geht wie jeden Morgen zur Schule und wird von ihrem Schulkameraden Dennis gemobbt.

Nachdem sie frische Luft schnappt, geht sie zurück in die Schule, aber nichts ist wie zuvor. Alles ist dunkel, niemand ist mehr da und Zoé wird anhand von Spielen gezwungen, um ihr Überleben zu kämpfen und sich ihres Traumas zu stellen.

Die Intention:

Einen Film über die Konfrontation von Traumata und psychischen Problemen zu machen, empfinde ich als besonders bedeutsam in der heutigen Zeit, da die Menschen durch alltäglichen Stress vergessen, sich um ihre mentale Gesundheit und sich selbst zu kümmern. Außerdem entstehen einige dieser Probleme in der Schulzeit, in der man sich entwickelt und sozialem Druck ausgesetzt ist.

Doch irgendwann kommt der Zeitpunkt, durch den beim Prozess das Verdrängen sich die Probleme verschlimmern oder einen einholen, wenn man sich nicht darum kümmert.

Der Film soll genau das zeigen, wie es ist, wenn man plötzlich seinen psychischen Problemen ausgesetzt wird.

Zeitrahmen:

Gedreht wird im EMG in Neuenstadt am Kocher. Vom 25.10.-02.11. werden wir auf dem gesamten Schulgelände den Film produzieren.

Die Postproduktion wird nach dem Dreh direkt eingeleitet und geht bis nächstes Jahr im Februar.

Kosten:

Insgesamt sind knapp 30 Personen am Projekt; in der Vorproduktion, Produktion und Postproduktion beteiligt.

Dabei werden Verpflegung, Transportkosten und auch Übernachtungskosten übernommen. Des Weiteren müssen Requisiten und Kostüm besorgt werden, wobei auch nochmal Kosten hinzukommen werden.

Daher bedanke ich mich für jede Spende, durch welche der Film realisiert werden kann und dem Thema der mentalen Gesundheit eine Leinwand gegeben werden kann.

The story:

A girl. A school. Trauma.

Zoé, the protagonist of the film, goes to school like every morning and is bullied by her classmate Dennis.

After taking a breath of fresh air, she returns to the classroom, but nothing is as it was before. Everything is dark, no one is there anymore, and Zoé is forced to fight for her survival and face her trauma through games.

The intention:

I feel that in making a film about facing trauma and mental health issues is particularly significant in today's world, as people often forget to take care of their mental health and themselves due to everyday stress. Additionally, some of these problems arise during school years, when one is developing and facing social pressure.

However, there comes a point where ignoring or repressing these problems can make them worse or catch up with you if you do not address them.

Timeline:

Filming will take place at EMG in Neuenstadt am Kocher. From 25.10.-02.11. we will be producing the film on the entire school grounds.

Post-production will begin immediately after filming and will continue until February next year.

Costs:

A total of about 30 people are involved in the project; in pre-production, production, and post-production.

This includes covering meals, transportation costs, and accommodation. Additionally, props and costumes need to be acquired, which will incur additional costs.

Therefore, I am grateful for any donation that can help bring the film to life and give a platform to the topic of mental health.
