Village of Love for Luke

Hi. My name is Debbie Biehle and I have set up this account in the hope of helping my son Matthew Biehle, his wife Hannah, and their son Luke. Luke Joseph Biehle was born into this world on the morning of February 8, 2022. On February 15, one week later, Luke underwent a 6 hour open heart procedure at Houston Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital. He was kept sedated for the first two days after his surgery  as well as intubated. Thanks to God he is doing well and according to his doctors, "exceeding expectations"!!! He will remain in the hospital for at least a few more weeks, and maybe more, just depending on how he is progressing. Matt and Hannah have done a phenomenal job handling their situation. Matt is the sole provider for their family. Thankfully, he had 2 weeks of vacation to take off from his job to be where he was needed, with his family in Houston. His vacation time has now been used up for the year and he will be back to work next week. That means that any time he has to take off from his job for the rest of the year will be without pay. They will continue making trips to Houston to be with Luke until he is able to be home. Once he is home, there will be follow up doctor visits to Houston. The cost of trips back and forth to Houston, the work days off without pay, the cost of medical bills that will soon be rolling in, food, parking, and other costs that are incurred for these trips, has been, and will be. ALOT. Whatever funds can be raised will be used to help cover the costs mentioned here. If you can please make a monetary donation to help this family out, it would be so very appreciated, and put to good use. If you can please pray for Baby Luke, that his recovery can continue to go smoothly, and that he can be home soon, that would also be very much appreciated!!
