At YANA Village 2 Tusa and her team will focus on building a centre and technical college for older children who have completed Form 4. The goal is to ensure these young people continue to thrive as they transition into adulthood.

With access to further training, education and career pathways along with support with personal health and wellbeing, students will be able to develop knowledge in their chosen skill sets while building independence and confidence

in themselves as individuals.

Those who are young mothers or who are awaiting a place at Village 3 which will be better suited for their personal situations and/or medical needs, will be welcome to reside at Village 2 until that time comes.

With opportunities for personal growth and time after lessons for social activities and building lasting friendships, the young people will be encouraged to explore the various options available to them as they take their next steps into the adult world.

We hope YANA Village 2 will become a springboard that helps launch young people to achieve their potential and reach their goals. Whether they dream of starting a business, being able to support their young family in a sustainable way, or perhaps even continuing on to a university programme, Village 2 aims to empower every young person to have the confidence to believe in their potential and encourage them to build a brighter future.

HOWEVER! We need some more support to be able to finish this project to make this happen.

There are several structural elements that need finalising and areas of building development that need to be finished. There are also several emergencies that crop up along the way that need to take priority such young people becoming very sick and needing emergency care or those facing some unexpected challenges who become in desperate need of urgent support to secure their wellbeing or safety.
