Many of you know how much I love triathlon. After years of training, racing, and dreaming, I’m incredibly proud to share that I’ve qualified to represent Great Britain in my age group at the European Middle Distance Triathlon Championships next July in Spain.

For any triathlete, getting to wear the GB tri suit is the ultimate honour—something you work towards for years. I’m beyond excited that this dream has finally become reality.

However, there’s a big challenge. Unlike many sports, GB Triathlon provides no financial support, meaning every cost falls on the athlete. This includes race entry fees, the official GB tri suit (which you must wear), flights, accommodation, insurance, kit, and countless other expenses. Altogether, it’s a significant financial hurdle.

I’m over the moon to have earned my place on the start line, but I’m also worried about how I’ll manage the costs to make it there. That’s why I’m reaching out.
