Vikki’s Cancer Journey

My sister was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer in August 2020 which spread to her right sided lymphnodes just before her daughters first birthday not long after returning to work following maternity to work frontline within the NHS.
As many of you have been kept up to date during her journey. You will have seen her constantly brave face she’s kept during her hardest battles.
She got the devastating news at the beginning of December that her gruelling 5 months of chemotherapy hadnt worked.
She has just had surgery at the beginning of January 2021 which was a lumpectomy and a full lymphnode clearance. She is now recovering from surgery. 19th January 2021 Victoria received the news she was All Clear and Cancer Free

After being unwell over the summer and under going further tests we received the devastating news that Victoria’s cancer had returned, it had recurred in her breast, spread to her chest wall, neck lymphnodes, lung, bones including rib cage, pelvis and spine.
she started intense chemotherapy weekly straight away.

despite the best efforts from treatment she was becoming more unwell and was to unwell for her chemotherapy and was admitted to hospital where she had further tests and scans and we were crushed by the devastating news that her cancer had metasisied to her brain with multiple mets at a large size.
she instantly under went full brain radiotherapy but despite the best efforts from all her team she has been giving a terminal illness with months left. She was advised to bring everything forward which she would like to do. Herself and her partner have brought there wedding forward to Saturday 26th February 2022. 

despite this crushing and heart wrenching news Victoria still battles on with a smile on her face remaining as positive as ever.
im so proud to call her my sister and I’m in awe of her positive energy.
As yous will all know this has caused a financial strain. My sister is one of the most caring and thoughtful woman you will meet. Even during all of this she is constantly thinking of others and going above and beyond. So this is just a little page to ask for donations to take away the worry of money for the short term as her and her family have another worry at the present without feeling financially unstable.
