Let's Keep the Viking Bus Tradition Rolling

This message comes with great excitement and anticipation. 4Northern is a charitable organization whose mandate is to raise funds to support the continued development of the Northern Collegiate Institute and Vocational School in Sarnia. 4Northern hopes to purchase a new "Viking Bus". Every 10 years, for the past 40 years, we have embarked on a Viking Bus fundraising campaign to help support the Viking community. This will be the 5th edition of the Viking Bus.

The Viking Bus promotes school pride amongst our students and is a "Tradition that Never Graduates." Our past and present students all share the memories of riding the Viking Bus. It is an NCIVS staple spanning from one decade to the next, symbolizing caring in our NCIVS community. It allows us to offer education through sports and field trips and provide learning opportunities off campus, teaching life skills and developing young people of high character.

With a fundraising endeavour of this magnitude, the support of our local community is essential. Local fundraising is used to assist with the costs of buying the new bus. As a committee, we have raised $40,000 towards the purchase of a new bus. Please consider supporting our continued effort towards our goal of $130,000.
