Viki Williams Memorial Fund.

Virginia Revell Williams, Viki, died peacefully on January 3, 2023 surrounded by

her three children, Whitney, Molly, Bennett, and her husband of 50 years, Roger.

She listened to her favorite arias, was wrapped in her new flannel sheets, and was surrounded by a few of her treasured things. Her final days were spent listening

to poetry, music, the last 40 pages of her book, and the many people who love her. 

Viki was an avid lover and lifelong supporter of the arts, literature, wildlife and natural spaces, animal rescue, and many important social issues. She always gave generously

of her time, effort, and finances in support of her beliefs. She loved pitching in to help others and her community and never thought twice about fighting to create a better world for all of us. She was fearless. She was fierce. She was a force. Her heart was

a limitless expanse of vibrant flowers and a murmuration of swallows; she embodied extraordinary magic that defies deceptively ordinary days.  In lieu of flowers, we have set up a fund for donations to be given to a cause in her name.

Viki would be moved immeasurably by the outpouring of kindness, support, food, and beautiful messages sent by family, friends, and neighbors. Our family is grateful for the excellent care and empathy she received as a patient within the UConn John Dempsey Hospital ICU and Neurosurgery departments. 

Service and a celebration of life are expected to be planned for spring/summer 2023.  An obituary and service details are to follow.
