I'm Varadarajan Balaraman (BV), fundraising for my dear friend Vijayan's memorial fund. You can imagine the heaviness when you do this for a 35 year old friend who has an eight year old child. Vijayan Daniel Raj and I were classmates in high school, and good friends. Vijayan always stood for what is right, regardless of personal impact. He always had a relaxed demeanor which made folks comfortable around him. He had the same attitude even when I spoke with him over phone a few months ago, but recently he fell ill with COVID-19 and passed away in the third week of May 2021. He is survived by his father, his wife and his daughter.

Nothing can bring back a loving father to Vijayan's daughter, but let us at least contribute towards her future. Please.
