Vietnam Veterans’ family plea
On behalf of the Padley family, it is with great sadness I announce the passing of David Padley.
David (Dave) is a Vietnam Veteran. Carrying that title, also comes with a tonne of baggage. Mental and physical traumas that are unimaginable to most.
Dave and his family were struck with devastating news on the 7th of August.
The words no one wants to hear, “you have cancer”. Unfortunately he’d only been given weeks to live. This has been incredibly sudden and Dave unfortunately deteriorated rapidly within a few days and passed away this morning 11/8/2021.
His family are now grieving the loss of their hero and are burdened with the enormous costs involved in celebrating this wonderful mans life, giving him everything he deserves.
In today’s climate, who has spare thousands of dollars lying around? None of us.
Which is why I kindly ask that we all band together to raise enough money for Dave’s funeral and memorial expenses, and to help his family through this.
Dave has always given it his all, whether it was in Vietnam, or working every day of his life to support his family. Always lending a hand to those in need, he has a true heart of gold.
