Hello Everyone! I would like to announce that I am going to Vietnam on a Medical Mission Trip this summer! I will be finally using the skills that I have learned in my first year of Optometry School but I need your help!
I will be going on this Mission trip in the end of June with the organization: VnHOPE (you can visit their website https://vnhope.org and read up on all their amazing trips) I will be volunteering in their optometry department, working to give better sight to people in rural areas of Vietnam that have most likely NEVER had an EYE EXAM before. One of the reasons why I wanted to join this mission was thinking about how debilitating it would be not being able to see and knowing that I could make a difference in these people's everyday lives by just giving them a pair of glasses.
This is where YOU come in. The organization is asking for money to cover the land cost for the 2 weeks including hotel fees and food for the volunteers, clinic preparation costs and transportation.

If you want a more tangible way of helping out, or can't afford to donate I completely understand and there is still ways that you can help out!! The organization is also asking for any GENTLY used stuffed animals and non-prescription sunglasses so that we can hand them out during the mission.
