Vietnam Friendship Village buy AC units for children's gym

Dear friends and supporters,

I am reaching out to you today with a special fundraising campaign dedicated to the Vietnam Friendship Village (https://langhuunghi.vn/).

I have been volunteering with this incredible organization for the past two years. They provide care and support to children and young adults affected by Agent Orange, resulting in various physical, mental and/or developmental disabilities. The Vietnam Friendship Village is a large complex comprised of residential buildings for the students and visiting war veterans, educational classrooms, industry-specific workshops, a medical centre for physiotherapy/occupational therapy, a gymnasium, a large garden to grow vegetables and medicinal herbs as well as a chicken coop, both of which are maintained by the students and teachers. The Vietnam Friendship Village relies heavily on organization sponsorships, private donations and fundraising to keep their community village running on a daily basis.

With the summer heat approaching, we have identified a critical need for two air conditioning units in the students' gymnasium. This is not only a place for physical activity and sports but also a safe and comfortable space for these children and young adults to come together, learn, and grow.

Your donation towards the purchase of these air conditioning units will make a significant impact on the daily lives of these students. It will ensure that they have a cool and refreshing environment to continue their education, socialize, and enjoy their time at the Vietnam Friendship Village.

Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will bring us closer to our goal and make a difference for these incredible children and young adults. Once we reach our goal, we will continue with this fundraising to assist with the installation of these A/C units. Additional funds will also help the Vietnam Friendship Village with ongoing expenses for food, medicine, educational supplies and building maintenance needs.
