This winter Don Super and John Jones will be going to Laos! Both are Vietnam era veterans who want to go back with goodwill and offer reconciliation to the people there, having seen the bombing and devastation first hand.
Between 1964 and 1973, the U.S. dropped two million tons of bombs on Laos, nearly equal to the 2.1 million tons of bombs the U.S. dropped on Europe and Asia during all of World War II. making Laos the most heavily bombed country in history relative to the size of its population.
We are raising funds to help with this aid project. With approval from the Laotian Consulate, they will go to the neediest areas - some are hardly accessible - but these guys are determined! Don's job in the war was as a Laotian interpreter so he's able to communicate, and John's had experience traveling throughout Asia, so they will be able to navigate their way around the region without much problem.
Whatever you are able to donate will be greatly appreciated!

About four years ago John went back to the Viet Cong village where he was injured in the war and was able to connect with the people there - an amazing and healing journey.
~This is the movie John made about his first reconcillation trip ~
