Hello, please allow me to introduce myself. I am Tonya, also known as Lady Tonya from Victory Village at Riverbend.

My husband, Terence Blake, and I were brought together with a love of history and medieval castles.

Our honeymoon was spent touring England, Scotland and France, visiting castles and quaint villages. Our dream for our property together was to build a medieval manor house and life as self-sufficient as possible.

We have owned the property at St Mary, near Tiaro on the Fraser Coast, for nine years and during that time, a village has grown to include buildings including gatehouse,

gypsy caravans, cottages and marketplace.

To add to the experience, we also have two Irish Wolfhound Cross dogs named McHendrie and Wee Douglass who roam the property.

Life in this little village isn’t quite like 14th century England. In that time, life was much more simple.

Victory Village at Riverbend has be requested to fulfill all obligations and requirements that Fraser Coast Regional Council has set for other similar properties and businesses.

The Village is wanting to open its gates to medieval enthusiasts and interested members of the public on regular occasions throughout the year. Medieval re-enactors are keen to share with visitors how their forebears would have lived in times gone by.

Lord Terence and I are seeking public assistance in raising the funds needed for Victory Village at Riverbend to achieve and reach our goal, further create something unique in Australia and move forward.
