My Ma Valerie Vernon has been actively involved in the Equine industry her whole life. Her and my Dad Guy Vernon run Vernon Performance Horses in Kiowa, Co. They started my Dad's Reining horse business almost 30 years ago.
Many of you do not know that my Ma has been battling cancer for the last six years. She has had many ups and downs but the love my family shares is so strong we make every day a good day.
So when my Ma was diagnosed with breast cancer we knew this would be a tuff battle for her, but through faith, courage, family, friends, medicine and the community, my Dad and I know she will win this battle as well.
