Victor’s Victory
First of all, thank you for visiting the fundraiser page for our great friend and teammate, Victor Ramos. Victor has been a huge part of our Hitmen baseball family for many years and has been through many of our teams changes, victories, losses, cheers and consolations. More than just a teammate, Victor is family.
As we prepared for this 2020 season, we received the call that every family dreads. Victor was driving to work and was involved in a horrific car-accident, and would likely not recover with any quality of life, if at all.
Many prayers and well wishes later and update after update from Victor's amazing family, Victor was released to come home in October and is still the awesome person he ever was. Tragically, his physical capabilities will never be the same.
Victor is now wheelchair bound and is in need of very extensive rehabilitation efforts, home health aids, transportation, home modifications and so much more that comes along with spinal chord injuries and quadriplegic care. Tens and even hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills and lifecare adds up very quickly when you consider what is needed to give Victor the quality of life he deserves.
This fundraiser comes at a hard time for many people and we know that this will be a lifetime effort to get Victor as much (and the best) help as he possibly could receive. Our team and family are dedicated to helping in whatever way possible and we ask you to please consider donating what you can and almost more importantly, spread the word to your family, friends, coworkers, and businesses and anyone else that may have something to offer.
Our family takes care of each other and I know Victor would be proud to do the same for any of us in need.
