Victor's Leukemia Recovery

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Victor.

On August 23, 2025, I made a decision that changed, and likely saved my life. I admitted myself to the hospital after weeks of ignoring the signs that something was very wrong. Doctors told me that if I had waited just one more day, I might not be alive to share my story.

After several blood and platelet transfusions, my body finally began to stabilize, and for the first time I felt hope that I had a chance to fight. On September 3, 2025, that hope was put to the test when I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).

I am now living at Princess Margaret Cancer Hospital undergoing a month-long, intensive treatment plan, the first step of what will be a long and difficult two-year journey to recovery. Each day is filled with uncertainty, but also with determination. I am fighting with everything I have, because what matters most to me is simple: I want more time with my family.

I am a husband and the proud father of a beautiful one-year-old baby girl. She is my whole world. What I want most is to be there to watch her grow up, to see her first day of school, to cheer her on as she chases her dreams, and to grow old alongside my wife, who has been my rock through this terrifying time.

I am not someone who likes to ask for help. I have always worked hard to provide for my family and take pride in doing so. But now, faced with a long road of treatment and knowing I will be out of work for a very long time, I am putting my pride aside for the sake of my wife and daughter.

This fundraiser is not just for me, it is for them. Your donations will help us cover the costs of living, family expenses, and the many unexpected needs that come with long hospital stays and ongoing treatment. It will allow my wife to focus on our daughter, and give me the peace of mind to focus on what matters most: healing.

I know these are hard times for everyone, and asking for help is not easy. But if you are able to give, no matter the amount, it will make a real difference for my family. And if a donation isn’t possible, please know that even sharing this page means so much to us.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading my story, for supporting my fight, and for standing beside my family during the hardest chapter of our lives.

With gratitude and hope,
Victor
