Victors Fight Against Testicular Cancer
Donation protected
My name is Victor Sanchez, I am 30 years old. I have always been a strong and healthy person, living a normal life, working hard, just enjoying life to the fullest. Surprisingly, that changed in November of 2023, when I was diagnosed with stage two, testicular cancer.
Testicular cancer is a rare disease, it makes up about 1% of cancer in men, in the US. Although it is highly treatable, the treatment is long, painful and costly. It debilitates you, disturbing your normal life. Since my diagnosis, I’ve had surgery to remove the tumor, countless doctors visits, CT scans, lab work, follow ups, and treatment plan appointments.
On January 29th, I will begin my first cycle of chemotherapy, for a total of three cycles to kill the spread that went into my lymph nodes throughout my body.
Those who know me, know that I am a strong person, nonetheless human. Given the effect of the chemotherapy on my health and body, I will not be able to work during treatment and recovery time. Thank you all for all the love and support.
