VICTOR’S BROKEN LEG GO FUND ME CAMPAIGN
Donation protected
On May 2, 2021 our dear friend, brother-from-another mother (Nancy!), and musician extraordinaire, Victor Krummenacher, was rock climbing in Joshua Tree. He and his cousins were climbing a familiar route, Vic missed his mark and fell nearly 10 feet. When he landed he broke his tibia in his left leg. Stranded in the desert he waited to be airlifted to the hospital. When the paramedics came they assessed him, gave him a good dose of fentanyl (it has a legit purpose!) and told him to close his eyes because of the dust.
Once in the air he was doing as told, feeling some relief from the shock and pain (medication does help) when all of a sudden he felt the airlift swinging and as he opened his eyes he was slammed into some palm trees. Yes, you read that right, he opened his eyes and slammed into some palm trees! A cable broke and the airlift went swinging. Fortunately, they reached the heliport at the hospital and Vic was in one piece, sort of.
Apparently, that was a good (bad?) weekend to be in Joshua Tree and the emergency room was packed. Victor received great care but had to wait a day and half to get the surgery he needed to repair the serious break. The surgery went well and he is recovering at his mother’s home in Riverside.
One month later Victor can not put his full body weight on his leg. He is having a difficult time concentrating and he is still in a lot of pain. He is facing mounting medical bills, a huge mortgage, and no sign of work in the near future.

We are raising $20,000 to help him with his medical bills, personal debts, and expenses. Please help out. If you know Victor you know how loving, kind, creative, and fun he is and how generous he is with his time, support, and advice. Victor has come through for me many times, for us, and for you too. This is our chance to support him. Any amount helps! - Dawn Valadez
