Brazil Internship

Hi everyone!
I have the opportunity to go back to Brazil and train in what I love to do, and I couldn't be more excited!
About 4 years ago I attended a mission trip with E-Team, a student missions program for high school students. I was choosen to spend 10 days in Jaboticabal, Brazil. I met my best friend Larissa Souza there, and as our friendship grew she decided to come visit me the very next summer. She worked in my church with me and counseled at the local christian summer camp, here in the United States. She has graduated from a Bible College, Word of Life Seminary in Brazil and is working in full time ministry as the children's minister in her church, Igreja Batista Livre de Jaboticabal. Since my time in Brazil she has already learned English fluently and is even teaching her own english classes!
As a student of Columbia International University in the Bible Teaching Major, this opportunity will give me great experience with teaching the Bible so I am even more prepared to teach here when I graduate. I will be going on a 4-5 week trip this summer to work with Larissa in her church ministry, and english classes this summer as an internship experience. I will teach some of her English classes as she has them. This will be a great way to gain more experience teaching. I will also teach along side Larissa in her Sunday morning classes, and the children's services. I hope to gain experience teaching and learn as much as I can about working in the church. I hope to also have the opportunity to serve at a christian camp they have in the city. I have already experienced how amazing the people of Brazil are, but I am even more excited to be able to serve them on a more personal level.
I will be staying with Larissa and her family during my time there, which I am so grateful to them for. I will need to cover my plane ticket and other travel expenses so I am setting the goal to 2,500! I would so appreciate your donation as I try to reach this goal soon! If you aren't able to help financially, I ask that you pray for this opportunity that it will work out as Christ would have it to.
