Victoria’s Stroke Recovery Fundraiser
Donation protected
On Friday, September 29th, Victoria Minnella suffered a stroke while on duty as a full-time EMT for a private ambulance company. Fortunately for her, she was picking up a patient from a hospital to transfer to another facility at the time of her incident; and therefore was able to receive immediate care in the emergency department
She began to develop significant, obvious signs of having a severe stroke. She was treated for her symptoms in the ER, transferred to the ICU for a few nights, followed by several nights on the neurological medicine floor to follow.
Victoria is currently admitted to an in-patient acute stroke rehabilitation facility and is working diligently to regain strength to her extremities after suffering left sided paralysis and speech deficits. She is intent on returning to her position as an EMT as soon as physically possible, but she is still struggling to regain full function after the stroke.
As you can imagine, the financial burden this has created for her is immense. Along with being obligated to pay a large portion of her medical expenses, she currently has no revenue stream or benefits of any kind from her company to support her income while she is in rehab.
Victoria is a kind, and incredibly generous woman who has wholly dedicated her life to caring for others. She has raised three wonderful children to adulthood, and is a proud grandmother as well.
We are asking for prayers, encouragement and financial support, if you are able to donate to help this wonderful person through an incredibly difficult time in her life. Any amount helps, and is immensely appreciated.
Thank you.
