Hello, my name is Victoria Trotman.

One of my great passions in life is singing. My journey with music has been life-long, however I didn’t begin singing lessons and performing until 2012. Since graduating college and moving on to my career I have had a brief hiatus from singing other than for family weddings and funerals.

After a night out with my girls at Tracy’s Karaoke Bar in Hamilton, and being coerced by my gang to get up and sing, I did. And was invited to come out for auditions for the Karaoke World Championship competition. Hesitant at first but pushed by my husband, family and friends, I did.

After many nights out singing with my co-contestants, I recently qualified for provincials at the Zoetic theatre in Hamilton. There I was fortunate enough to place within the top 15 and make it onto Team Ontario! I’m now going to be perusing my singing dreams in Calgary as I head there August 18th to showcase my ability and hopefully make it onto the National Team heading to Bangkok.

This is something that I have dreamed of doing for many years, however this expense coming up when it has and so suddenly, I’m unsure if this trip will be possible for me at this time.
