Victoria Makinde, or Mummy Makinde/ Ma Makinde as she is affectionately known, is the matriarch of her family. She is a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She has dedicated her life to the service of others professionally as a nutritionist/ dietician primarily with women, infants, and children, and personally with family, friends, and even strangers.

 

In September of 2021, just before her birthday, Victoria was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. As this is one of the most aggressive forms of cancer, it was important to her that she choose the best method, for her, to fight this goliath that would allow her to maintain a good quality of life during treatment. To this effect, she has chosen a naturopathic treatment regimen towards wellness without life altering complications. Unfortunately, this treatment path is not covered by her health insurance, and the costs of treatment are quickly rising. We are asking for donations to cover the costs of her treatment as this is something the family cannot carry alone.
