This Go fund me page is for my strong and beautiful daughter, Victoria Beaulieu. In August 2015 she was an excited and determined Freshmen in out of state college and got into her dream school with a huge scholarship for, Roger Williams University in Rhode Island studying a degree in business. During the first month of her Fall semester she ended up getting very ill and we knew something wasn't right or even the same in her voice. At the time she thought she had a really bad flu that ended her up in a Rhode Island hospital and resulted with a permanant medical discharge from college. She returned to her South Portland home for more testing with a Rheumatologist, Neurologist, Endocrinologist and her PCP doctor numerous times a week. She was tested for everything possible and the doctors diagnosed her as their "mystery patient" and offering zero hope. Finally, the neurologist announced Tori's positive test for Lyme Disease. None of her other doctors believed the tests were accurate other than the neurologist. They lead us to believe our once juvient, fun, and active teenager was clinally depressed which was not the Victoria we all knew and love. At the time I didn't even know what Lyme Disease was but the more I researched I knew in my heart that’s what she had and every symptom related back to Lyme. She started her first month out of 3 of Doxycycline, a powerful medication to help treat Lyme. If she waited any longer to start this treatment her health would have rapidly declined to a point that was beyond repair. Next, was the spinal tap to identify how far the bacteria spread in Tori's body. After the spinal tap, Tori started to feel like herself again so she started to work part time at an assisted living home in an attempt to bring normalcy back into her disarrayed life. We started feeling hopeful seeing her feel good again was relieving but not for long. It only took 2 months before the extreme physical body pain returned like as if the cycle started over again. Thats when we understood that we were battling with Chronic Lyme Disease. Her common symptoms were extreme fatigue, muscle and joint pain, brain fog and numerous other symptoms that go along with Lyme. Since everything changed to chronic her neurologist had recommended for a second opinion for her to see a new Rheumatologist at the Brigham Women's Hospital in Boston, Mass and recommended that she is to have a full day sleep study. Once the doctor reviewed the results of the study he concluded that she was extremely fatigued and needed her to start medication to treat Chronic Pain Syndrome. She took the medication for 1 week and she started feeling worse. We did not settle for this misdiagnosis and decided that we needed to actively pursue a Lyme treatment program which involved monthly Lyme support groups for the next 6 months. Tori was referred by a woman in the class to see a Lyme Specialist in New Hampshire who also then concluded that my 20 yr old daughter, Victoria, does in fact have Lyme. She decided to go along with the treatment with that office for a few months and then she felt they weren’t doing much for her. They were somewhat negative towards her and she felt that she was using a lot of money on countless other medications and visits that no insurance plan would cover the costs.
Over the last year and a half we have been in contact with numerous sufferers of Chronic Lyme Disease and have shared many stories. We recently even learned about Kelly Osbourne's struggle with addiction that all stemmed from an untreated Lyme Disease. If you want to read more about Kelly's story, click here:

We learned from a close family member about there own struggles with Lyme and an internationally known treatment center in L.A, California called Infusio Concept that they found to be effective. Here they offer a specialty 5 step Stem Cell treatment that will recharge your immune system while ridding your body of the parasites. You can read more about this amazing treatment that we hope to raise enough money to send Victoria by June 2017:

We’ve been researching more into the treatment and the procedure and in my heart and hers we feel that this is needed. This is something we know has been missing for too long and Victoria is fully prepared for it. Just like with any Lyme treatment program, insurance does not pick up the bill and appointments are all out of pocket. It is time to take matters into our own hands to get our daughter the treatment she deserves so she can enjoy her youth before its gone.
Victoria is very excited to get this treatment behind her so she can go back to college and focus her career path in the medical field. She hopes one day she will be able to help Lyme Disease patients or anyone that's in chronic and emotional pain because she’s lived through the pain. This would be greatly appreciated that words can't even explain. I just now know where she needs to be now, where to go from here and whats next. We ask for your help to get her where she needs to be by making a small or large donation. Every little bit helps us and is very much appreciated so we can reach our goal by June.
This is a fundraiser page for Victoria Beaulieu created by her family to get help with some much needed medical treatment.
Thank you for your time.
