Hi friends and family,

As you probably know by now, I was diagnosed with breast cancer (invasive ductal carcinoma) at the end of June. The is aggressive and has spread to my lymph nodes. However - good news yesterday (7/28) - my CT & Bone scans do not indicate any further spreading of the disease, which means it is NOT stage 4! I'm so thankful for this boost of good news and hope and am more determined to face what's coming.

Thank you for already being here for us through your friendship and wanting to help us through this challenging time of my recent cancer diagnosis and upcoming chemotherapy treatments, surgery, and recovery. It will be an extremely hard year for our family with many unknowns, but we're thankful to have your love, care, and support - even from afar. We could not make it through this storm without you.

We're not sure exactly how much funding we'll need, but we are starting with $15K as our goal for now, as this will be a long road ahead with necessary ongoing support. It'll be a marathon.

Your donations will help us pay for the following:

Medical bills, drugs, & other expenses
Hair-loss accessories (coverings/wigs)
Baby expenses like formula, diapers, wipes
Childcare for Boaz (When Scott is working at the hospital/church and I'm too sick to care for Bo alone, we hope to have someone regular who we know/trust and can pay to be his primary nanny for the season)
