This September 2018, I will take my Performing Arts Discipleship Training School (PADTS) in YWAM Sydney Island Breeze in Australia!
This is something that I've been waiting for my entire life and now that I've finally come of age, I'm allowed to take my DTS. This DTS is not just any school-- rather it is a school TO KNOW GOD AND MAKE HIM KNOWN. For this, I will taking 3 months of Lecture Phase then 3 months of the Outreach Phase. This school will commence from September 21, 2018 - Feb 15, 2019 for a total of 5 MONTHS.
I am raising USD $7,891 (PHP 418,223) for the training. Here is the breakdown (in USD/PHP):
Lecture Fee: $1,711 = PHP 90,683 [[PAID]]
Outreach Fee: $3,810 = PHP 201,930
Student Visa Fee: $425 = PHP 22,525 [[PAID]]
Airfare: $750 = PHP 39,750 [[PAID]]
Health Insurance: $195 = PHP 10,335 [[PAID]]
Misc costs (Food, Transport, Personal, Internet, Phone): $1,000 = PHP 53,000
This school is a very special step in my life, for I believe this will enhance my relationship with God and make me walk closer to Him. I also believe that I will hear from Him about His plan for my life and what I will do to pursue His glory.
Not only will I learn more about the Bible, but this Performing Arts focused-DTS will give me proper training about the theatre-- something that I am very passionate about. I think that focusing something I'm good at and using it for God's glory (1 Peter 4:10-11) will bring more people to the kingdom of God because I do plan to use it for evangelism/missions in the future. (Matthew 28:19)
