Victoria Lund Support Fund
Donation protected
As some of you may have heard by now, Victoria Lund, was in a terrible, life-altering car accident on August 23rd 2019 and was subjected to severe injuries. In the accident she has suffered serious injuries to her skull and brain, and is currently still suffering from injuries to her collarbone, ribs, pelvis, amongst others. Although her recovery so far and positive outlook has been incredible through this tragic incident, we as her friends who love her very much, feel the need to help her and her family through this horrific and unimaginable time in their lives.
This is why we are hoping for and seeking out help from our community to help us fundraise, in order to lessen this mental, emotional and physical load this incident has caused on Victoria and her poor family. Victoria has been without income since the day of her accident, and will remain without one for the duration of her recovery (which there is no set timeframe on). Her parents have also been off from work, not only travelling back and forth to the Halifax ICU where she was first airlifted to for brain surgery, but also going above and beyond to get her anything she may need and be by her side through this traumatic time in her life.
There is no information yet regarding when she will be released from the hospital, but when that does happen, she will unfortunately still have a very long road to a full recovery, with possible modifications needed in her home, rehabilitation, physiotherapy, treatments, transportation, and many other financial aspects that we cannot possibly foresee right now.
Victoria and her family have really been through so much throughout this ordeal, so any donation at all you can offer is so greatly appreciated to help minimize the financial weight on this amazing, wonderful family, so they can focus right now on what is most important: her recovery and reclaiming her health and happiness. All donations will go directly to Victoria’s expenses, such as: bills, treatments and travelling (i.e. necessary hospital visits). We hope by doing this, her and her family can focus solely on her journey to a full recovery surrounded by all her family and friends. Thank you everyone for donating anything you can afford and for sending all the love and well wishes to Victoria and her family, it is all appreciated more than you can ever imagine!
