Victoria Hagar's Cancer Expenses

On April 1st, 2023, a day after her PET scan, my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 vulvar squamous cell carcinoma that metastasized to her cervix, colon, liver, and lymph nodes in her abdomen and pelvis. There is unfortunately no known cure for this, but it can be treated to minimize the spread and better her quality of life. She will start iron infusions first due to her tumor bleeding with weeks worth of chemotherapy/radiation to follow.

My mother is the most selfless person I've ever known. She is a light to everyone around her and has gone above and beyond for her family, friends and patients. Our house was always open growing up. My mother gave anyone that walked through our front door a bed, a meal and a safe place to call home. Her love language was acts of service and she enjoyed helping anyone that needed it.

In 2020, due to several health issues, my mother was unable to work and was approved for disability. Her income is fixed and leaves little to no room for medications, copays and transportation costs that treating her cancer would bring. This fundraiser will help ensure that my mother can focus on her treatments without the added stress of financial worries. We are so grateful for your support during this difficult time.
