Victoria Ellis tragically lost her young life on 2nd January 2021: she was a true angel here on earth. Mum to Patrick and Olivia, Nana to Amelia, Daughter to Pat, Sister to Stephanie, Billy, Amy and Lucy and life partner of Steve. Her death was sudden and totally unexpected, and has left her family and friends absolutely devastated.
Vicky was a bright light in this world and was loved by all who knew her. She was such a kind soul, with her positive vibrant energy. She was always there for anyone who needed her and was a friend to so many. She absolutely loved nature and wildlife and had so much love to give.
We are aiming to raise money to buy her a memorial bench in Rothwell Park, near to where she grew up. We want to create a beautiful place where her two children, family and friends can go, to feel close to her - a place that reflects her energy, where her loved ones can go and think about her and feel close to her amongst the trees, surrounded by flowers.
The amount we are raising is the amount we have been quoted for the cost of the bench and for the placement of it, plus fundraising fees. If we manage to raise more than our target, the extra money will go to buying some bird tables and bee housing, so her two children can continue looking after nature as she did.
