JANUS et Cie’s Victoria Boucher Memorial Fund

Victoria was born and raised on the South Shore of Boston, one of three daughters.
She married Ray Boucher almost 25 years ago and together they raised daughter Olivia (recently graduated from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA) and son Cooper (a star lacrosse player at Clarkson University in upstate New York).
Victoria loved her family deeply, which included her cats who were a constant presence around the house. The Boucher family loved taking family vacations on Cape Cod and Victoria had a knack for finding great rental cottages at the last minute for end of summer getaways.
Victoria had a passion for sales and outstanding client service. Her early career was in fashion and apparel. From there she went on to furniture, developing deep relationships at Crate and Barrel and then JANUS et Cie, where she thrived for 14 years in our Boston showroom.
In 2013 Victoria was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, undergoing a double lung transplant in 2015. For the past six years Victoria continued her role at JANUS et Cie being an invaluable resource for her clients and colleagues.
Sadly, Victoria was admitted to the hospital last month with Covid-19. She fought fearlessly, but ultimately lost her battle on March 15, 2021. She would have turned 64 in April.
Victoria had an amazing sense of fun, a great sense of humor, the gift of gab and the most patient eye for detail concerning her work and her home. She loved to garden and visit with friends at the beach.
Victoria loved to use the word "clutch" referring to success in a crucial situation, and her loving friends always think of her when they hear that word.
Victoria will be missed beyond measure.
