We have been blessed to tears as God has kept Victoria and Atticus safe through the most strenuous set of circumstances and health concerns. Admitted at 23 weeks pregnant, Victoria received emergency care for five weeks, constant bed rest in the hospital, top of the line testing and treatment, emergency cesarean, and four days of aftercare. Baby Atticus's NICU care will last about 7 weeks. As none of this was foreseeable and delivery was still a long way's out, under normal circumstances, not being able to work these past few months wasn't in "the plan", as these things never are. The extra medical expenses, household expenses, living expenses and even just gas to and from the hospital every day, It all adds up so quickly! We want Mamma to be able to be with baby as long as possible without her having to consider going back to work.
