Victor Ross Fund

Hi, we are Alicia and Adison Ross. Our dad Victor Ross contracted Covid 1/22. Because our dad has diabetes, it progressed and caused several other issues. He went into multiple organ failure and was only home for 6 months before having complications that had him with multiple hospital stay. He is so strong and fought from that 1st day he was in the hospital.

Because of all this time spent in the hospital , the family tries to be with him everyday. Our mom works full time. She takes us to sit with him for a couple hous every night after work.

Last week, our dad underwent multiple surgeries. The doctors at Valleywise hospital have been amazing.The doctors have given our dad extra time to spend with us and we are grateful.

This week we were told our dad will need another surgery. His

Surgeon told us his body is very weak, and his body has been though so much. We have been told it would not be wise to continue with any other surgery, because his body will not be able to rebound. The next phase is going to be keeping our Dad comfortable. We are told this may give him 3-7 days with us. Our mom has used all her sick and vacation time on being with him through it all. We are trying to raise money because she is not being paid for time off since last week. If you are able to donate, we would be grateful. These next few days are going to be extremely hard on us all and we want my mom to be able to be at his bedside with out worrying about paid time off or the sick time she has used. We are having face the reality of losing our dad, our protector, and we want our mom to feel supported while our family is facing this huge heartbreak right now. On 4/10/24 at 9:45pm our dad passed away after fighting so hard to be here with us. Thank you for all your love and prayers.
