Hi everyone,

I just wanted to take a moment to talk about something that has been really difficult for our family and our community.

We recently lost someone who meant so much to us and the community, Victor Chapman our Gumbaynggirr warrior our black fulla walk about man, that loved his music playing the guitar and singing, and had a passion for aboriginal dancing and always teaching the younger generation. we are now trying to raise money as he was not in a funeral fund and to help give him the send off he truly deserves. Funerals can be very expensive, and during a time when we are grieving, the financial pressure can make things even harder.

We’ve started a GoFundMe to help cover the costs of the funeral and to support our family through this time. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean so much to us and would help us give our loved one a respectful and beautiful send-off.

If you’re not able to donate, we completely understand, but sharing our fundraiser with others would also help us greatly.
