Help Victor Nickoli Beat Bladder Cancer

Hello!

I am Mona Jones, and I am asking for your support for my brother Victor Nickoli.

Never in a million years do you want to see the people you love suffer, especially with the horrible disease of cancer. We have already been down this long road, losing our mother, father, aunt, uncle, and even our beloved sister along the way. Cancer has taken so much from our family, only my brother and I remain, and now his fight has begun.

My brother Victor and I grew up as Army Brats, for those who don’t understand the term, we grew up all over the world, never staying in one place very long. When Victor was old enough, he too joined the military, he chose the NAVY, and he served on the mighty battleship USS New Jersey. Following his military career he met and married the love of his life, his wife Karen who has been his rock for over 20 years now.

This March came the dreaded news. After a trip to the ER, his doctor found a mass in Victor’s bladder. We quickly scheduled surgery to remove it but after the surgery came the diagnosis, he has an aggressive form of bladder cancer at Stage 3. It was devastating news, and it was so hard to accept that it was happening again, and after all the loss our family had already suffered, we knew we had to fight back and fight back hard!!!

We went straight to The Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute, and their doctors went to work and set up a treatment plan, they outlined an aggressive chemo protocol, followed by a major surgery to remove his bladder, lymph nodes and any other suspicious tissues to eradicate this cancer.

We have the plan to win this fight, but it came at a tough time for Victor and Karen, due to a career change, Victor does not have any long or short-term benefits, so he has no time off from work, he is still working even now while going through his Chemo treatments, but it is so hard on him.

That is why I am starting this campaign, Victor and Karen need your support, your help with medical bills, expenses for travel to Tulsa for Chemo, and living expenses so Victor can take some time off work, continue his chemo treatments, and stay strong for the coming surgery.

Please help us support them in this unbearable time. Physically and mentally, the pain is deep and unimaginable. The moment is now.
