Hi my name is Farrah Darby Johnson, I am a mother of six children. On Monday morning, March 27, 2023 my children and I fell victim to car theft. Unfortunately, all of my sons’ travel sports equipment, my infant daughter’s essentials, along with my personal possessions were all taken as well. My kids ages range from 8 months to 12 years old. My sons play for multiple teams —N.O. Monarchs, Crescent City Chargers, Gulfport Greenwaves and Louisiana Tigers. I introduced them to sports as an outlet to escape crime and show them positivity amongst our community. This has tremendously impacted my family in a way that we’ll never forget, feeling victimized and discouraged. I truly don’t know what to do or where to start. It took us so long to acquire their sports equipment and now we are at a loss. We are also currently in the process of moving from one side of town to the another, over 35 miles away. This is my attempt to restore my kids sense of safety and help them to get back to their normal routines by replacing their sports equipment as well as my baby’s bag with essentials and medications. Any help would be greatly appreciated.--
