Rosa White has passed along beneficiary permissions to one of Andre’s surviving children, Leandra Elliot. Leandra will be the receiving beneficiary of the fundraiser.

As per your feedback and our research, we’ve named Rosa White as the receiving beneficiary of the fundraiser. 

Rosa is the sister of Andre Mackneil, who was in Buffalo for his nephews third birthday. Andre was buying a cake at Tops when he was brutally murdered. 

Rosa has since taken over the responsibility of caring for Andre’s 4 daughters and 1 son. 

Rosa intends to use the money for basic living expenses for the children, and whatever other support may be pertinent for the kids and her family.

I felt her needs were the greatest, and for that reason we’ve set Rosa as the beneficiary. Rosa was extremely grateful to our fundraiser and all the support she’s received from the community at large.

My name is Zachary Utech and I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY.

Recently, tragedy struck when an armed man executed 10 and injured more at a Tops supermarket on Jefferson Avenue.

I’m compelled to do something, ANYTHING, to help the victims and loved ones impacted by the incident. Buffalo is a city of unity, of pride, of togetherness, and above all else of good neighbors.

It’s time to unite, time to rise above hate, and time to fight violence with compassion.

I’m hoping this can allow the families to take the time needed to mourn their loved ones and to recover, not worry about finances.

With the help of Pastor James Giles of Buffalo, we were able to connect with Rosa White directly to discuss how she intends to use the funds. The funds will be used to cover living expenses for all of Andre’s surviving children.
