Victims of The Recent Hostage Situation

On August 15th, 2023, my Son and I were displaced from our home due to a very unexpected and life-changing chain of events. My Son was held hostage in our home. Upon the initial entry of the Police, an officer was shot and that was the beginning of a 12-hour standoff between the Police and the 2 fugitives. My Son is alive and well, thank God, however, our home has been destroyed. It is riddled with bullet holes, blood, burns and debris. It has been deemed inhabitable. I am asking for donations of any kind to assist my Son and I. We are digging through what’s left of our apartment and have been able to salvage a few items from the home however, most of our belongings have been destroyed. We are now without a place to live and it is uncertain when or if we will be able to move back in. Again, anything, however big or small, would be greatly appreciated.
