Victims of Fairfax Fire

We are trying to raise money to help the 6 different families that were affected and lost everything a week before Christmas. Not one of the 6 apartments had renters insurance. One family we talked to told us they had just finished Christmas shopping this same day. We want to help these families in their time of need as we always do for each other. Anything helps when you have to start over, we appreciate everyone who has helped in any way. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

My husband Robert Essex and myself use to live in this building a little over a year ago. We moved out into a house still here in fairfax, and know some of the tenants still living in the building. We came home that night and seen the fire and rushed over to check on our friends and sat outside for many hours with them. We watched as everything was taken from them, we wanted to help our friends and know that it's hard sometimes to ask for help. We decided to start this GoFundMe page, I named my husband as the beneficiary so he can help me. The money will go into his personal bank account and then we will divide the cash evenly between every apartment in the building we are hoping to help them with their rebuilding process.
