On April 23rd at approximately 7:50pm, an intruder broke into my parent's home armed with a gun with the intent to burgle and steal valuables. Thankfully, they were not home at the time and were not in harms way. This intruder took almost everything valuable inside their home. Not only did he steal their hard earned savings, jewelry, and family heirlooms; he took their sense of safety and security. 

Police are still actively investigating.

My parents are kind people. They are first generation immigrants to America striving to better their children's lives by moving here in 1992. They've always taught me and my brother to be the best citizens we can be. Both my parents are citizens of this country and are proud to be here. 

They have been running small restaurant named China Star in Milford, NH for the past 20 years. They've become an embedded part of the community. Whether from Milford or the town over in Wilton, people know my family and the delicious food they serve.

COVID-19 hit the restaurant industry hard, my parents' Chinese-American restaurant has not been an exception. Through this past troublesome year, they've managed to stay afloat. Unfortunately, this burglary sets them very far back and they are concerned about the future. Some of the cash taken also belonged to the Restaurant. 

This fundraiser is to help my parents pay for a security system to prevent any future break ins and replace the window that the criminal broke when exiting. 

Any excess will go directly to my parents to help them and their business stay afloat.
