Victim of Senseless Road Rage.

Hello, my name is Cheryl Webb -
Most of you may know me from expediting permits from ABRA, DCRA and as assistant to the late Joseph Englert. At 8am on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, I was driving my grandson to school when my son, Keith Vessels, became another victim of road rage in the District of Columbia.
He was struck by a projectile entering his vehicle and damaging many of his vital organs. After seven hours of emergency surgery and four weeks in the ICU, his prognosis looks promising. Through this ordeal, I realized how strong and how fragile I am. Our lives have been drastically changed. I now suffer from anxiety, and my son has physical and emotional stress. His medical bills are astronomical, and we have mounting financial expenses.
Keith is now healing at home, but we have a long road of recovery ahead of us. He can talk, walk, and can’t stop thanking God that he's alive. Through this ordeal, I will never forget the kindness that I've been shown by everyone when at my lowest.
Thank you for your love and support!
