Hello friends, family, and others. My name is Alayna Alberts and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my mom, Michelle Radabaugh, resident of Fort Myers Beach, Florida. My mom was trapped on Fort Myers Beach during the most severe moments Hurricane Ian and around 2pm on Wednesday September 28, her building collapsed atop of her. My sister, Georgia Alberts, and I lost all contact with her at this time. We spent all night calling Coast Guard, National Guard, and any other rescue resource we could find, with no word. Around 11 am on Thursday September 29, my mom was rescued by the USCG from a piece of scrap roof metal that she was clinging to.

She has lost her pets, her home, her car, and 100% of her belongings. The next months will be an extremely trying time as my mom processes her trauma and loss, which had no financial insurance. If you are able to donate just $1, it will be used to help my mother rebuild her life that was demolished yesterday.

If you know my mom personally, she is the strongest fighter on our planet, despite all of the heartbreak and hardships she has encountered before this. And more so has the largest heart of anyone I have ever known.

As my sister and I spoke to her in the final moments of communication, she only wanted to know that we would be okay. Now, we want to make sure that she will be okay. Please consider donating or sharing, as every second that passed is a critical moment while we navigate this time.
