Vicky’s Fight Against Lymphoma

A couple of weeks ago, my mom was diagnosed with lymphoma. She had been having lots of abdominal pain for about a month and after many unsuccessful visits, a doctor at the ER finally discovered the culprit. Although shocking, we knew that my mom’s immunosuppressants could lead to illness, but we never really thought that it would come to this.  You see, my mom has been fighting against kidney failure for 18 years.  She was blessed with two successful transplants and has always been mindful of her health. As she begins her treatment today, we are confident that her positive attitude and willingness to fight will help her persevere.
