Vicky's Stroke Recovery Fund
Donation protected
On March 16th, 2018, we received the devastating news that my mother had suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke, leaving her paralyzed from her right side and unable to take care of her basic needs. Anyone who knows my mother is aware of her tremendous compassion, kindness, generosity and remarkable perseverance. She has been a teacher for over 30 years, until now she had 3 jobs and was even going to school at night to become a nurse. She has worked all her life to help others selflessly. I would not have been able to be in medical school if it wasn’t for her endless support.
We now face an uncertain financial situation. Unfortunately, she is uninsured and the road ahead will require long-term care, physical and occupational therapies, inpatient rehabilitation and other services. Our family is reaching out today to humbly ask for any support. Any donation, share or prayer is deeply appreciated.
Thank you all for your help and prayers.
