My name is Shelby, and I'm raising money for my aunt's medical expenses.

My aunt Vicky is one of the most philanthropic people I've ever known. While we haven't always seen eye-to-eye (I got part of my big opinionated mouth from her), she has always been there for me and my family. Today, she needs us.

As a kid, she would send packages with gifts from exotic Arizona, but they always smelled like her perfume so I knew it was from Aunt Vicky. I can recall sooo many good memories of us down in Clearwater, looking at the boats and trying to see dolphins. Or at the Grand Canyon, learning about Pueblos. I've seen so much of the world thanks to her. When she'd come to visit us in Ohio, we always had to have two things prepared: iced tea and squirrel food .

But let's get back to the present. You wouldn't be on a GoFundMe page if someone didn't need help, so I am here to ask all of you for just that: Help.

A few months ago, Vicky was diagnosed with lymphatic Cancer, also known as lymphoma. Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) is one of the most common forms of cancer, so we have hope that she will overcome this... but medical bills are piling up, and that's where you come in.

She is currently receiving treatment (chemo, immunotherapy) at Banner Health Medical Center in Mesa, AZ. She needs to do several rounds of treatment. Each round costs $900, and she has at least six more. The funds raised here will go towards those medical expenses, her hospital bills, and some quality-of-life improvements (such as step stools and wigs).
