My name is Deborah Hall.

Vicky Stubbs has been my friend for many years. She has been my accompanist in many shows, and partnered with me through many chapters in my life, with love and endless compassion. Many of you know Vicky and have felt that love and compassion through her music and friendship. She has cheered us on and taught us in ways large and small. Now Vicky needs our help. She is facing major surgery to repair her rotator cuff. She has torn muscles throughout her shoulder and bicep. Doctors are telling her she can't put it off any longer without doing more damage. Her recovery will take six to seven months. For at least six weeks her shoulder will have to remain immobile to prevent another tear.

It's hard to imagine Vicky not playing piano for more than a day, isn't it?

Her surgery is scheduled for March 16, 2026. Here's why I'm asking for your help.

Vicky's income comes from playing shows, teaching at the Portland Conservatory of Music, and church services. Fortunately she has insurance, but no way to cover all her expenses over the coming months.

Please join me in helping Vicky through these difficult months financially. All monies raised through this endeavor will go directly into Vicky's account. The last thing she needs right now is to be worried about her bills, and all the stress that can cause. We need her back creating beautiful music once again. I'd be so grateful for your help.
