Vicky’s Skydive for Jesstival – In Honour of Jess

This Saturday, my amazing cousin Vicky is doing something truly incredible – jumping out of an aeroplane! She’s chosen to do it in support of Jesstival and in memory of my beautiful daughter, Jess Fairclough, who we heartbreakingly lost at just 18 to a rare cancer.

Vicky's husband Will got the skydive for her birthday, as she'd always talked about doing one, so with it already funded, they decided why not raise money for this amazing event at the same time! (Saves her having to do it twice!!) So every single penny will go to make Jesstival happen, helping us continue the work and joy that Jess inspired. Thank you Vicky (and Will for getting it for her); you are both legends, and we love you !

What is Jesstival?

Jesstival is a weekend filled with fun, love, and music – a celebration of life, laughter, and togetherness, just as Jess would have wanted. It was created in her memory, and every pound raised goes to children’s cancer charities, supporting vital research and care for young people and their families.

Jess always adored Vicky. As a child, she looked up to her not only because she was a talented actress but also because she was so full of life, fun, and laughter. Knowing that Vicky is doing something this brave in Jess’s name means the world to me and to all who loved her.
