Our beautiful friend Vicky has been living with polycystic kidney disease for many years, and after such a long battle, she recently received the gift of life through a transplant from the most selfless person we know – her incredible donor, Mel. Despite her bravery, strength, and the smile that lights up every room, Vicky now faces the harsh reality of being unable to work, and to make matters worse, her PIP has been stopped by the ever-confusing and unfair system of the DWP. Vicky never asks for anything, always pushing forward with courage and a zest for life that inspires us all. Now it’s our turn to give back – to show Vicky that she is not alone, that her fight is our fight, and that her and Mels courage deserves to be met with love, support, and community.
