Help our mom get her full knee replacement surgery

Hello,

My name is Kennya, and I am the youngest daughter of the beautiful woman we are creating this fundraiser for. My mother's name is Virginia, but everyone calls her Vicky. She is an angel on earth who is the rock of our family and puts everyone above herself. She has 4 kids and 4 grandchildren she loves and adores. She is the one who takes care of us all and makes sure we are all good. That is just who she is as a person and who she has always been. She is the reason we are all who we are and have always been taken care of.

She is also the one who helps watch and keep my 6-month-old baby safe while his dad and I make a living for him. For that, we are so grateful.

Now we want to do the same for her. My mom has severe arthritis in both of her knees, but one of them is now almost unusable. It has gotten so severe that her quality of life has diminished greatly. She can no longer do a lot of the things she once loved, although she definitely tries. (She doesn't know what sitting down and relaxing means.) She is very active and always has been. Due to her arthritis, her knee has now started to bend inward and has greatly limited her mobility. She needs a full knee replacement surgery as soon as possible to correct it.

My mother had this surgery scheduled and had fully prepared physically and emotionally for it when her insurance called days before her scheduled appointment and told her that she will have to be responsible for $5,000 to cover the surgery. My father is retired, and my mother is unemployed due to her physical limitations, and they cannot afford to pay that much money out of nowhere. We are asking for your help in reaching our goal so that our mother can get the surgery she needs and can continue to live the happy life she deserves.
