Vickie's Cancer Fund

Some of you may know that my sister, Vickie Romero Lasserre has previously had breast cancer.  It is with a sad heart that I report that the cancer is back and seems to have spread.  During an ER visit recently they did a CT scan and found several masses in her lungs and told her it's likely in her breasts, lymph nodes, lungs and blood stream.   "Very advanced" were the words they used.  She has an appointment to do a biopsy and then see an oncologist for an exact diagnosis but it really does seem grim.  Many of you already know that Vickie lives on a very limited disability income; and the reason I set up this fund is to urgently provide Vickie with the means to buy a small vehicle, which she currently does not have.  She's brave and facing this disease with a strong will, but with no means to attend appointments and treatment this will be a much harder struggle for her.   To know Vickie is to love Vickie, she has a kind giving heart, always fun loving and vivacious, a true friend to many, and a great sister to me and my siblings.   It is for those reasons that we humbly ask for you to open your hearts and give a donation.  Prayers are needed and appreciated also!!
