Vicki Walker Fire Relief - She lost everything
Donation protected

On January 31 an electrical fire tore through my mother Vicki Walker's building, destroying her condo and everything she owned. On top of losing all of her possessions, her two cats unfortunately perished in the fire. The fire spread so fast that residents of the building were forced to jump out of windows in order to survive. Vicki was able to escape with only the clothes on her back.
Even though she has lost everything she told me that she didn't want to ask for charity and said that she would be ok. Vicki is a proud woman that has created her own path in life. For the past few years she has been unable to work regularly due to health issues but has still spent much of her time caring for her mother as she rehabbed from several surgeries.
Despite her not wanting charity I have decided to reach out and with her friends and loved ones help give her a hand up, not a hand out. I know that money will not help her grief over losing the cats that she loved so much and all of her memories, but I hope that it will make things a little easier during the time it takes to find a new home and putting together all of the things it takes to live.
I have linked a few stories about this devastating fire and video of her neighbor jumping out of a 3rd floor window to save his life:
